CONVERSION/JANITORIAL SUPERVISOR
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
The Conversion / Janitorial Supervisor oversees the conversion and janitorial staff (part-time employees) at Honda Center. As supervisor of the conversion staff, this individual will be responsible for supervising the change over in the building from event to event by following event specific set ups within the timeframe allowed. As supervisor of the janitorial staff the chosen individual will be responsible for the cleaning of the arena following every event. In addition, the chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining all equipment necessary to complete the assignments and the restocking of product in all restrooms to insure the building is ready prior to every event. The Conversion / Janitorial Supervisor will be responsible for the ordering of all supplies necessary to clean and stock the arena.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Supervises the conversion and janitorial crews in order to meet all event set ups and provide a clean building to enhance the experiences of our guests.
o Schedules and coordinates with staff to insure the arena is prepared for every event to exceed the expectations of our guests, promoters and clients.
o Responsible for hiring, training and terminating of department employees.
o Assists with the proper training and implementation of the company’s safety program and workplace injury responsibilities for all conversion/janitorial employees.
o Maintains ongoing relationships with outside vendors for correct ordering of supplies and schedules proper maintenance of all equipment.
o Conducts a nightly inspection of arena to insure that every aspect of the conversion is complete and the arena has been completely cleaned to the highest standards, also reports back on any damages and confirms all restrooms have been properly stocked for the following event.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
o Minimum two years experience in a similar type of operations supervisory role is required.
o College degree in business, operations or management preferred.
o Understands the importance of creating a positive working environment while developing and training a staff through proper supervision.
o Knowledgeable in the arena conversion process and familiar with all equipment used to complete a conversion.
o Knowledgeable in the janitorial process and familiar with all equipment used to keep arena clean.
o Must have experience operating a forklift and other equipment, lift up to 75 lbs and remain on your feet for several hours at a time.
o Effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
o Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
o Computer knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
o Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays and various shifts.
o Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and shift priorities when appropriate.

BOX OFFICE TICKET SELLER (hourly position)
This position is located at the Honda Center, Anaheim, California, home of the Anaheim Ducks. This position is a part-time, non-exempt position within the Box Office reporting directly to the Box Office Supervisor.
Compensation: $8.50/hour
Job description:
• Sells admission tickets from automated ticketing system
• Accepts payment and makes change before giving tickets to the patron
• Answers questions concerning events, tickets, schedules and gives information concerning upcoming attractions
• Hands out will call tickets after verifying patrons photo identification
• Balances cash and receipt drawer with supervisor at the end of each shift
• Answers telephone as assigned
• Adheres to all Ticket Seller policies and procedures
• Provides courteous and professional customer service
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service skills
• Fan-friendly attitude and a professional appearance at all times
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Inside Sales Representative (9 month term) --Compensation: $10/hour plus commission. The Anaheim Ducks and Honda Center seek aggressive, competitive, professional, mature and self-starting individuals who will be responsible for selling season, mini packages and group tickets via telemarketing. We are looking for people with good phone skills, selling ability and excitement for hockey. You must be able to work Monday-Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm in addition to many evenings and weekends, for the term of employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Make cold calls from provided lists to area companies and individuals to sell season, group and partial-plan ticket packages and family packages to a variety of events
• Handle incoming sales calls from sales prospects for promotional ticket packages
• Actively prospect and research new sales leads
• Possess a thorough understanding of our company’s various ticketing plans and ticket policies in order to successfully sell to prospective customers
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals in the areas of season, group and partial-plan ticket packages
• Maintain records of all season, partial, promotional and group customers
• Provide superior customer service to clients-existing ticket holders, prospects, and single game customers
• Sell other special projects when necessary

EVENT SECURITY TEAM MEMBERS
Honda Center is currently interviewing for the part-time position of Event Security
Team Member. Duties include, but are not limited to guest services, guest safety,
parking lot security, access control, prevention of theft or vandalism, control
room surveillance, and other responsibilities as assigned.

Wages: Starts at $9 per hour and can increase to $12.50 depending upon the assignment,

USHERS
Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking tickets and seating guests in
their assigned seat. An usher may be assigned to seat guests in a specific section
and is responsible for monitoring that section throughout the event. Additionally,
the usher may be asked to rotate in a door guard position or participate in an elevator
rotation for approximately thirty-minute shifts. When an usher is assigned to a
specific section, they are responsible for ensuring that all guests have tickets
for that section and assisting guests to their seats. When an usher is assigned
to a door guard position, they are responsible for greeting all guests entering
the level, checking tickets and assisting them with directions throughout the venue.
When an usher is assigned to an elevator position, they are responsible for operating
the elevator, checking ticket locations and giving directions. All positions are
required to identify any building pass and be aware of specific access areas. An
usher may encounter many customer service issues and must be prepared handle any
guest situation that may arise through the course of an event. At the conclusion
of the event an usher needs to inspect their assigned area for lost items (to be
turned in to the receptionist) and wait for their supervisor to dismiss them at
the end of the shift.

CONCESSION STAND LEADER
Responsibilities: Accuracy of cash and inventory counts before, during and after
events. Maintaining arena food service standards while ensuring speed and quality
of service to guest. Accuracy of payroll hours of stand personnel and ensuring that
breaks are given according to the collective bargaining agreement. Maintaining stand
appearance and presentation.
Qualifications: Must have knowledge and at least six months of experience in a supervisory
capacity related to food service. Knowledge in food handling and food sanitation.
Must be able to work any assigned shifts and demonstrate knowledge of company policies
and procedures.
Schedule: Flexible, mainly nights and weekends
